Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture meets FAO delegation
Baku, December 20 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov has met representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Simone Borelli and Nadine Valla.
They exchanged views on opening of a coordination and partnership office of FAO in Baku.
Minister Asadov praised the contributions of projects and programs implemented by FAO together with the Azerbaijani government to strengthening food safety and developing agriculture in the country.
The FAO representatives stressed their willingness to support the development of Azerbaijan’s agrarian sector.
