AZERBAIJANI PREMIER MEETS WITH KOREAN AMBASSADOR
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizadeh met with Korean ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Kwang Chul on April 18.
It was stressed during the meeting that friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Republic of Korea became more intensive after President of Korea Roh Roh Moo-hyun’s official visit to Azerbaijan in May last year. President Ilham Aliyev’s expected visit to the Republic of Korea will help push bilateral relations to a much higher level. The parties said both countries are working on a number of large-scale projects in the fields of transport, energy, agriculture, culture and education. They stressed a need for cooperation in the production and non-energy sector. According to the Ambassador, Korean businessmen intend to invest massively into the economy of Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh said he is ready to create all conditions for implementation of any joint projects.
The meeting also focused on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
