AZERBAIJANI-TURKISH GAS MAIN IMPORTANT FOR TURKEY, GULER

“Azerbaijan-Turkish gas main is of great importance for Turkey”, the county’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Guler said during his pre-election campaign rally in Turkey`s province Ordu. He noted the Shah Deniz project would strengthen Turkey’s position in energy sphere. “Turkey is already prepared to receive the “blue fuel” from Azerbaijan and then to deliver part of it to Greece,” he said adding “Athens will get the first batch of natural gas on 10 August, and later, gas will go to Italy.”
