Azerbaijani wrestler to compete in “Night of Champions” tournament
Baku, May 1 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani wrestler Jabrayil Hasanov weighting in at 74 kg will compete in an international friendly tournament, “Night of Champions”, which will be held in New York on May 7.
His rivals include Americans David Taylor, who won the bronze medal for his country at the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan 2013, and Jordan Burroughs, the winner of the 2012 London Olympic Games (both weight category up to 74 kg).
In 2010 and 2011, Hasanov won the European championships and finished third at the world championships. He was fifth at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
