Azerbaijani wrestlers qualify for semi-final at AWF Cup
Baku, April 19 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani wrestlers have reached the semi-finals at the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation’s Cup international tournament.
In 50kg weight class, the tournament will see Azerbaijani semi-final thanks to Elgun Huseynzade-Sahil Nadirli duello. In the other semi final, Kenan Jafarov will try to beat Turkish Ugur Beytekin.
In 58kg division, Israfil Yagubzade will fight against Iranian Mogaddam Eftehari, while his teammate Rustam Isayev will lock horns with Turkish Omer Murat Firat.
Ulvi Ganizade and Arif Niftullayev will face Georgian Lado Shavadze and Turkish Alikasim Tashdemir respectively in 63kg weigh class, while Tunjay Vezirzade and Islambek Dadov will battle against Georgian Ramazi Kvetenadze and Turkish Murat Ozcan respectively in 69kg division.
