Azerbaijanis commemorate anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s death abroad
Baku, December 13 (AZERTAC). The 10th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s death was marked in different countries as Great Britain, Turkey, Sweden, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in the UK has organized an event to commemorate national leader Heydar Aliyev. The event has brought together employees of the Embassy, representatives of the Diaspora organizations and others. Delivering a speech at the event, Azerbaijani ambassador Fakhraddin Gurbanov spoke about the national leader`s life and political activities. He also stressed that the relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain had been established by Heydar Aliyev.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkey has also held a commemorative event on the 10th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev`s death in Ankara. The Embassy hosted an ehsan dinner commemorating the anniversary of the death of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was attended by Adana Deputy from the Justice and Development Party Mehmet Necati Cetinkaya, Turkish MPs Ali Ozgunduz, Sinan Dogan, General Secretary of TURKSOY Duisen Kaseinov, heads of diplomatic corps accredited to Ankara and others. The Azerbaijani ambassador Faig Bagirov and others spoke about the national leader`s salvation mission and his services for the development of Azerbaijan.
A commemorative event on Heydar Aliyev`s death anniversary organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Sweden has also been held in Stockholm. The Embassy hosted an ehsan party. Opening the event
Azerbaijani ambassador Adish Mammadov spoke about the national leader`s rich lifetime and political activity.
The Azerbaijani Embassy to Turkmenistan also held a commemorative event on the 10thanniversaty of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s death. The ambassador Vahdat Sultanzade delivered a speech at the event.
Serbia`s capital Belgrade also hosted a commemorative event on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s death. The event participants have visited the national leader`s monument at the “Tashmaydan” park of the city.
Kazakhstan`s Aktau city has hosted a charitable event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. As part of the event representatives of Azerbaijan`s Consulate General have visited the nursing home for the elderly and disabled.
