AZERBAIJAN`s COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS MEETS US ENVOY
Azerbaijan`s Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova met with US Ambassador in Baku Anne Derse.
The Ombudswoman praised the United States` efforts towards combating global threats and ensuring peace and stability in the world.
Elmira Suleymanova said Azerbaijan places particular emphasis on the development of its relationships with the USA.
She stressed Azerbaijan-USA relations have reached the level of strategic partnership, stressing the two countries` joint efforts in ensuring energy security and combating terrorism.
Anne Derse said the United States supports Azerbaijan`s moves to become a strong country.
