Azerbaijan’s First Lady inaugurates orphanage-kindergarten No285 in Baku
Baku, September 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva have today attended the opening of a new building of the orphanage-kindergarten No285 in the capital’s Bina settlement.
The First Lady cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.
Mrs. Aliyeva was informed that the orphanage-kindergarten was built in 1985. The facility was reconstructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The First Lady and Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva viewed photo stands reflecting previous and current look of the kindergarten, as well as national leader Heydar Aliyev’s and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s attention to children. The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation toured a canteen, and a sports hall of the orphanage-kindergarten. The kindergarten will handle up to 220 children.
