Azerbaijan’s First Lady opens orphanage-kindergarten No172 in Baku
Baku, September 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have today attended the opening of the orphanage-kindergarten No172 after major overhaul in the capital’s Nizami district.
The First Lady cut a ribbon to officially inaugurate the facility.
Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the photo stands reflecting the previous and the current look of the kindergarten.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the First Lady that the kindergarten was built in 1971.
The facility was reconstructed under the “State Program on socio-economic development of the city of Baku and its suburbs in 2011-2013”.
Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the conditions created at the orphanage-kindergarten which will serve 240 children after major overhaul.
