Azerbaijan’s First Lady opens orphanage-kindergarten No289 in Buzovna District
Baku, September 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the Foundation`s vice-president Leyla Aliyeva have today attended the opening of the orphanage-kindergarten No289 after major overhaul in the capital’s Buzovna District.
Mrs. Aliyeva viewed a photo stand reflecting previous look of the facility.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the First Lady that the orphanage-kindergarten was built in 1976. The kindergarten will handle up to 120 children.
The two-storey building was reconstructed under the “State Program on socio-economic development of the city of Baku and its suburbs in 2011-2013”.
The First Lady was also informed about the reconstruction work in kindergartens in Buzovna District.
