AZERBAIJAN’S FM MEETS MINISTER OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF EGYPT
Azerbaijan Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met with Egypt`s Minister of International Cooperation Faiza Abu El Naga.
Faiza Abu El Naga expressed satisfaction with her Azerbaijan trip aimed at attending the 3rd meeting of the joint Azerbaijan-Egypt intergovernmental commission.
She praised the existence of common political will to strengthen the mutual cooperation.
The Egyptian Minister said the head of her country would soon visit Azerbaijan, and expressed assurance the visit will give a push to development of relations between the two states.
Mammadyarov noted Azerbaijan attaches great importance on cooperation with Egypt, and highly appreciated the political cooperation between the two states and mutual support within international organizations.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of relations in humanitarian and cultural fields, and stressed the importance of strengthening the economic cooperation and developing ties in the field of health, education, information technologies and transport.
Faiza Abu El Naga said Egypt will continue to support Azerbaijan’s just position on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the country`s territorial integrity.
