Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture meets ICARDA Director General
Baku, December 4 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov has met Director General of International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) Mahmoud Solh and ICARDA Board Chair and Director of the International Institute for Environment and Development Camilla Toulmin.
Mr. Asadov praised cooperation between Azerbaijan and ICARDA and stressed the importance of boosting these ties. He also hailed holding the 53rd meeting of the Board of Trustees of ICARDA in Baku.
Camilla Toulmin, in turn, highlighted the Baku Declaration, which was adopted at the 53rd meeting of the Board of Trustees.
Mrs Toulmin noted she attached great importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Mahmoud Solh said he would spare no efforts for further developing this cooperation.
