Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy meets Minister of Economics of Latvia

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev has met Minister of Economics of Latvia Dana Reizniece-Ozola.

On successfully developing, bilateral ties between the two countries in variety of fields, the Minister said it was mutual respect and friendly relations that lie at the heart of our bonds.

The Minister highlighted the importance of economic cooperation.

Mr. Aliyev also spoke of the contributions of energy field to economy of the country. The Minister underlined the importance of regional and global projects realized with the country`s participation and stressed the role of Azerbaijan in ensuring the energy security of Europe. Mr. Aliyev also highlighted Southern Gas Corridor project.

Dana Reizniece-Ozola, in turn, said her country was interested in benefiting from the energy resources of Azerbaijan.
