AZERBAIJAN’S MINISTRY FOR EMERGENCIES TO PURCHASE AIRPLANES AND HELICOPTERS FROM RUSSIA
Azerbaijan’s Ministry for Emergencies is about to acquire aircrafts and helicopters, director of the international cooperation department of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations Yuriy Brajnikov said Monday at the 21st meeting of the CIS Interstate Council for Natural and Man-caused Emergencies
Yuri Braynikov said the Azerbaijan’s Ministry for Emergencies would acquire two helicopters from Russia. Moreover, Azerbaijan is expected to buy amphibian airplanes. The decision to this issue will be made in September. If decision is positive, the airplane will be delivered to Azerbaijan in late 2007 or early 2008.
I. Brajnikov said Russia is ready to exchange experience with Azerbaijani partners.
