Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Justice, UNICEF discuss judicial cooperation

Baku, September 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Justice, Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council Fikrat Mammadov has met with the newly appointed UNICEF representative in the country Andro Shilakadze, according to the press service of the Ministry.

The Minister underlined the fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UNICEF, and spoke of the work done in protection of children`s rights in the country, judicial reforms and measures taken to develop juvenile justice.

Shilakadze hailed relations between the UNICEF and Azerbaijan, adding the country is rapidly developing in all spheres under President Ilham Aliyev`s leadership, and stressed First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva`s role.

The UNICEF representative has also familiarized himself with the Justice History Museum.
