Azerbaijan`s Republic Day celebrated in Uruguay

The diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in Montevideo has organized a reception to mark May 28 -the Republic Day.
The event was attended by Uruguay`s officials, senators, MPs, representatives of diplomatic corps and businessmen.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Uruguay Rashad Aslanov said the first democratic republic in the Muslim world was established in Azerbaijan. He also highlighted Azerbaijan`s achievements under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in recent years.
The diplomat also stressed that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uruguay are dynamically developing.
