Azeri representative attends Sixth Black Sea and Caspian regulatory conference
Baku, June 2 (AzerTAC). Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Iltimas Mammadov has attended Sixth Black Sea and Caspian regulatory conference.
The event is organized by Turkish Telecommunication Authority and the main theme of the conference is “Transition to Digital Cities: Permanent (Fiber) - Mobile Broadband Experiences, Tendencies”.
Azeri representative is expected to make a report on “Regulations on Next Generation Fiber Networks, Competition and Broadband Politics” and speak of national strategy on relevant sphere in Azerbaijan.
Reports on “Mobile Broadband Technologies, Convergence Strategies and Regulatory Approaches”, “Practices in Transition to Digital Cities”, “The Role of Broadband in Transition to Digital Cities: Current Practices in turkey, Strategies, Tendencies” are scheduled to be presented in the event by the participants.
The aims of the conference to contribute to the reinforcement of relations with the region and the other countries, to strengthen the institutional capacity, to support the enhancement of the knowledge and the experience of experts within the institution, to contribute to the strategy of “being a regional power” by participating in regional activities, to promote the activities of the institution, and to encourage furthering the capacity of international collaboration by promoting the sector.
The event will wrap up on June 3.
