AzerTAc, ITAR-TASS discuss development of cooperation
Moscow, September 19 (AZERTAC). Director General of Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC) Aslan Aslanov has met with Director General of Russian ITAR-TASS Agency Sergei Mikhailov on the sidelines of the 15th OANA General Assembly in Moscow.
Mikhailov said in 2013 he paid four business trips to the capital of Azerbaijan, which, he added it indicates to friendly neighborhood relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, especially between AZERTAC and ITAR-TASS.
He recalled the 1st World Forum of Graduates of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), which was held in Baku in April this year, and thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as he invited graduates of the Institute from various parts of the world.
AZERTAC Director General Aslan Aslanov thanked the head of the ITAR-TASS news agency for excellent organization of the 15th OANA General Assembly. Aslanov stressed the importance of development of relations between the two agencies, joint activity within international organizations and strengthening the technical cooperation. He also put forward some proposals. AZERTAC`s Director General said he would be glad to see Sergei Mikhailov at the Baku Humanitarian Forum to be held in October.
