AZPROMO, Belgian AWEX sign MoU
Baku, April 29 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) of Belgium have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding as entrepreneurs from the two countries came together in Baku for a joint forum.
Organized by the Ministry of Economy and Industry and AZPROMO, the forum brought together more than 50 businessmen from the fields of agriculture, consulting, food, industry, and energy.
Speaking to the forum, Vice-President of AZPROMO Vidadi Guliyev provided an insight into the economy of Azerbaijan. He said the country had ensured its sustainable economic development and macro-economic stability, and built favourable business and investment environment.
Mr. Guliyev also hailed Azerbaijan-Belgium economic relations.
AWEX Director for Central and Eastern Europe and CIS Dominique Turner highlighted the economy of Wallonia region. He stressed the importance of business forums and bilateral meetings in terms of boosting relations between the Belgian and Azerbaijani businessmen.
The forum featured bilateral meetings of the businessmen.
