AZPROMO delegation had several meetings in Morocco

The expert group of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) led by Deputy Executive Director Zohrab Gadirov were in Morocco on February 19-22 with an aim to prepare for the businessmen’s meeting on the sidelines of the second session of the Azerbaijan-Morocco joint commission slated for the first half of this year.
The first day of the visit saw a delegation’s meeting in Casablanca with Hassan Sentissi el-Idrissi, President of the Moroccan Association of Exporters, with ambassador of Azerbaijan to Morocco Nazim Samadov in attendance. The meeting discussed cooperation in implementing economic and trade projects.
The meeting with Hassane Berkani, President, Casablanca Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services was mainly concerned with proposals to develop relations even more.
The delegation then had a meeting with Turkiye’s commercial representatives in Casablanca and Rabat Burcu Ozurgul Colak and Mehmet Ali Oran to weigh in on economic and trade relations in Morocco.
The focus of discussion with representatives of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises was economic partnership between the two nations in petrochemical sector, industry and agriculture.
The meeting with Ali Seddiki, General Director of the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency saw discussions revolve around the economic and trade projects between the two nations.
The Azerbaijani expert group also met with President of the Moroccan Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industry and Innovation Mohamed El Bouhmadi to discuss trade and investment opportunities in pharmaceutical sector.
The delegation also met with representatives of the National Office of Hydrocarbons & Mines and manager of the Turkish BIM company Dincer Yazici.
