Baku hosts Azerbaijan-Russia business forum
Baku, April 16 (AZERTAC). Baku has hosted an Azerbaijan-Russia business forum.
It was organized by Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economy and Industry and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The forum was attended by officials and representatives of companies specializing in agriculture, industry, construction, consulting, and tourism.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani minister of economy and industry Shahin Mustafayev praised Azerbaijan-Russia relations.
He also underlined the role of joint forums in development of ties between the two countries. The minister noted that Azerbaijan and Russia had signed a number of agreements in the economic, commercial, scientific and technical fields.
Sergey Morozov highlighted Ulyanovsk Region `s economic and investment opportunities.
AZPROMO head Rufat Mammadov, deputy Chairman of the Government of Ulyanovsk Region Alexander Smekalin, and Ulyanovsk minister of agriculture, forestry and natural resources Alexander Chepukhin made presentations at the event.
The forum saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding between AZPROMO and Entrepreneurship Development Corporation of Ulyanovsk Region.
