Baku hosts CIS Chiefs of Staff Committee meeting
Baku, April 8 (AZERTAC). A meeting of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of the CIS member states has today kicked off in Baku.
The event is chaired by Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.
The event brought together delegates from Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The meeting will consider the conceptual approaches to the development of military cooperation between the CIS countries and joint events for 2015-2020.
The joint establishment and improvement of military systems will be discussed at the meeting.
