Baku hosts Red Bull Winning 5 Football Championship
Baku, October 27 (AZERTAC). Red Bull Winning 5 football tournament, supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, was held in Baku on October 26.
The tournament involved about 64 teams competing for the title of Red Bull Street Style. The winning team earned tickets to Austrian Bundesliga and FC Red Bull Salzburg match.
Red Bull Winning 5 is a completely new and challenging football championship. It`s concept was launched for the first time last year in KSA and in a very short time was registered internationally and adopted by leading football nations such as France & Brazil which in turn hosted this competition attracting some of the best players in their nations. The basic elements of a Red Bull Winning 5 game consisted of:
Teams composed of 5 players compete against each other in 10 minutes long games. Goals are 2 meters wide and 1 meter high with no goalkeeper. The team that concedes a goal has to eliminate a team member and this continues until the complete team is eliminated one member at a time, or until the end of the 10 minutes.
