Baku marks “Microsoft Innovations Day”

Baku, May 3 (AZERTAC). The Representative Office of Microsoft Cooperation in Azerbaijan organized “Innovations Day” with support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies here on Monday.

Azerbaijan Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov and deputy minister Elmir Valizade informed participants on established infrastructure for “E-signature” project.

Representatives of Microsoft made presentation of platform established on companies` technology for application of electronic signature.

The platform has been made by Microsoft Azerbaijan, Ultra and Azerin companies.

The event brought together representatives of state agencies, heads of leading Azerbaijani companies, as well as IT specialists. Discussions focused on the importance of innovation for ICT development, different spheres of the economy, partnership with businesses by introducing innovations and other issues.
