BAKU-NAKHCHIVAN-BAKU BUS ROUTE SET TO BE IN SERVICE
Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku bus route across the territory of Iran will start operating in November, chief of the department for transport policy and economy Sadraddin Mammadov said, commenting on the memorandum of understanding on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku bus route signed between the Iran’s Ministry of Road and Transport, and Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport.
Under the memo, the Iran will submit to the Azerbaijani side the documents containing the information about the bus company, timetable, bus stops and other details.
According to S. Mammadov, Azerbaijani bus company conveying the passengers has already been selected and visa regime between Nakhchivan and Iran was simplified. He said residents of Nakhchivan would pay no visa fees.
The fare will be fixed by bus companies of both countries.
After the government agencies of both countries will specify all details, the bus route will be available in November.
