AzerTaj Paris-based correspondent reports that 20 meters height bridge connecting the dockyard in the port of Saint-Nazaire /Department of Loire-Atlantique, France/ with giant ocean-liner “Queen-Marie -2” collapsed killing 15 and injuring 27 to the various extent. Rescuers rendered first aid to the injured, three of those delivered to the hospital were too seriously wounded to stay alive.

President Jacques Chirac, Prime Minister Jean-Pier Rafferen and Interior Minister Nikolo Sarcozi and other government officials arrived at the occurrence location. They have present condolences to the relatives of the dead. The city’s Office of Public Prosecutor has instituted a criminal case in connection with the tragedy.
