BTC PROJECT TO EMPLOY 10 THOUSAND PEOPLE
2 thousand 300 working places in Azerbaijan, 2 thousand 500 in Georgia and 5 thousand in Turkey are planned to be opened, the ‘BP-Azerbaijan’ Company reported. As the pipeline contractor, the CCIC Company continues to open employment centers in Sangachal, Mughan, Kurdamir, Yevlakh and Ganja regions of the Republic. Aim of the centers is to attract the people located along the pipeline route to the construction works.
Hitherto, the CCIC employed over 800 people and it makes up 72% from total number of Company’s employees. The Spi Kapag/Petrofak Alliance, which opened employment center in the Aran settlement of Yevlakh and Yaldili villiage, continues its activity. The contractor company directly or with sub-contractors’ assistance employed 180 people.
