Caspian European Club presents events program for September

Within the framework of reforms which are introduced under leadership of Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club), and aimed at improving investment climate, activation of the business-to-government dialogue, there are a series of activities underway which promote acceleration of these processes. Most of them have already yielded positive results.
“We are grateful to the head of state for support of business and very pleased that we have been actively engaged in these processes for 15 years. At present, all industrial clubs and working committees of the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) are preparing reports on results of studying problems and proposals of businesses in different sectors of economy, which will be presented to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) Ilham Aliyev”, First Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) Telman Aliyev said.
According to him, there is a tight schedule of events, business-forums, round tables which are going to be held with participation of heads of ministries, agencies, companies and organizations starting from September. In particular, Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) plans to hold business forums with participation of heads of government agencies and businesses in September.
Thus, on September 7, 2016 Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) will hold a business forum with participation of David Mammadov, SOCAR Vice President for Refining.
Then, Founder and Director of Barattson School of Business and Finance Elshan Rahimov will hold a seminar titled “IFRS 15 - Revenues from customer contracts” on September 16, 2016.
According to T.Aliyev, results of the elections of the members of the board of directors of the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club), which is over on September 13, will also be announced at this event. According to the results of voting, a management of branch clubs and working committees will be established out of newly elected members.
On September 21, 2016 Caspian European Club (Сaspian Business Club) will hold a business forum with participation of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aydin Aliyev.
It is noteworthy that business forums and round tables are planned to be held by the end of 2016 with participation of Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan Fazil Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Director of the Chamber for Control over Financial Markets Rufat Aslanly, Governor of the Central Bank Elman Rustamov, Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan Salim Muslimov, Minister of Communication and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade, Chairman of the State Committee for Property Affairs Kerem Hasanov, Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov, Minister of Healthcare of Azerbaijan Oktay Shiraliyev, Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kamaleddin Heydarov and many others.
According to T. Aliyev, business forums of the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) shall promote establishment of contacts between the government agencies and private sectors, which in its turn will promote sooner solution of problems that businesses face in daily activity.
