Central Election Commission holds regular meeting
Baku, Aug 21 (AZERTAC). Regular meeting of the Central Election Commission under the chairmanship of Mazahir Panahov was held on August 20.
Firstly, protocol of Commission meeting dated August 17, 2013 was approved.
Thereupon, the issue on approval of candidacy of Ismayil Sadulla oglu Yusifov forwarded by himself in presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed to October 9, 2013 was considered in meeting. The Commission made a decision that in presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed to October 9, 2013, the candidacy of Ismayil Sadulla oglu Yusifov shall be approved.
The issue on approval of candidacy of Elshan Shirzad oglu Hasanov forwarded by himself in presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan was also considered in meeting by the Commission. The Central Election Commission also made a decision on approval of the candidacy of Elshan Shirzad oglu Hasanov forwarded by himself.
In presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elvin Chingiz oglu və Ismi Yagub oglu Rzazdade were registered as competent representatives of Zahid Oruc, whose candidacy in presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan was approved earlier.
Current issues were also considered by the Central Election Commission.
The representatives of international organizations and mass media took part in meeting of the Central Election Commission.
