CHAIRMAN OF CONSTITUTIONAL COURT MEETS WITH RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR
Mr. Abdullayev informed the guest about the activity of the Constitutional Court and judicial and legal systems in the country.
He said he highly appreciates the level of legal cooperation between the two countries, stressing the importance of further enhancing these ties.
Farhad Abdullayev recalled his meetings with Chairman of Russia’s Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin, describing them as fruitful.
Mr. Abdullayev handed over a letter to Vasily Istratov inviting Mr. Zorkin to participate in the conference of the Council of Europe's Venice Commission in November in Baku.
Vasily Istratov, in his turn, stressed Azerbaijan’s all-round progress, and said he believes the cooperation between the two countries’ constitutional courts will further deepen.
