Chairman of Nakhchivan`s Supreme Assembly meets with Turkish ambassador

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met with Turkish ambassador to the country Erkan Ozoral. Vasif Talibov hailed the strategic level of Azerbaijan-Turkey relationship. He emphasized Nakhchivan`s ties with Turkey. “A bridge between Nakhchivan and Turkey opened in 1992 under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev.” Vasif Talibov commended Turkey`s role in Nakhchivan`s achieving the status of autonomy and strengthening its army.
The chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic noted the importance of joint projects in terms of the development of the bilateral relations.
Ambassador Erkan Ozoral praised Nakhchivan`s strategic role in developing Azerbaijan-Turkey ties.
