Chief of Pakistani Air Forces starts Azerbaijan visit
Baku, April 17 (AZERTAC). Chief of Pakistani Air Forces, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt has embarked on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
He started his trip by laying a wreath at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honours. He also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva here.
Mr. Rafique Butt then visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity. He laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
The Chief of Pakistani Air Forces then visited the Military Academy of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
The visit will also see Mr. Rafique Butt have several meetings at Azerbaijan`s Defence Ministry.
