CHINESE SHOW INTEREST IN ENERGY PROJECTS
According to the joint-stock company “Azerenergy”, a representative delegation of Chinese National Electric Equipment Corporation visited Azerbaijan early this year to discuss expanding cooperation in realization of promising projects for development of electric energy complex in the country. The group of Chinese experts also negotiated with management and specialists of the Azerenergy, visited enterprises and familiarized with the interested projects.
A scope of the cooperation has included projects of construction a substation in Shaki and reconstruction of one of the hydroelectric generators at Mingachevir Hydroelectric Power Station.
Construction of the substation in Shaki is one of the joint-stock companies’ priority projects as it is exactly the region, where main industrial consumers in Northwest Azerbaijan are located. This will allow providing more quality and reliable electricity supply in the region.
