A scientific conference was held at the Museum of Independence on the occasion of Azerbaijanis Genocide Day – March 31 Addressing the participants, director of the museum Azada Huseynova noted that history of genocide and terrorism of Armenians against Azerbaijanis has two centuries history. Massacres committed in 1918-1920 in the name of delirious idea on creation of “great Armenia” took larger scale. Extirpation of Azerbaijanis has taken place in Baku, Nakhchivan, Shamakha, Guba, Karabakh regions.

Deputy of Milli Majlis, dean of historical faculty of Baku State University, Dr of historical sciences, Prof. Yagub Mahmudov in his report analyzed essence of Genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis not only in 31 March, but in different times as well.

Representatives of Ministry of Culture, museums of Baku attended the conference, reports of BSU students were heard.
