CONGRESS OF EUROPEAN AZERBAIJANIS WILL BE CREATED IN GERMANY

As informed to AzerTAj from the State Committee on Work with the Azerbaijanis Living Abroad, on April 17-18, this year in Berlin the Congress of the European Azerbaijanis will be created. The purpose of it is the even greater strengthening of relations of our compatriots living in the European countries, with the historical Motherland, maintenance of spiritual and political unity and solidarity between Azerbaijanis of the world, co-ordination of activity of the Azerbaijan community in the region.

The congress will be created with participation of Diaspora organizations in the countries of Europe, the CIS, and also Turkey and Baltic Republics.

In the first part of assembly in Berlin, reports of officials of the government and the state of Azerbaijan, members of Azerbaijan Parliament, men of science and culture of Azerbaijan will be heard. And the second part will be devoted to prospects of development of the Azerbaijan Diaspora. The Congress, headquarters and coordination secretary of which will be located in the German capital, after registration in Federal Republic of Germany will lift before a number of the international organizations the problems Azerbaijan faces.
