Convention on legal status of Caspian Sea discussed in Ashgabat
Baku, April 2(AZERTAC). The 36th meeting of the special working group on working out the Convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the Caspian littoral countries has been held in Ashgabat.
“Participants of the Ashgabat meeting discussed the draft conventions of the Astrakhan summit,” deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov told journalists.
He said the documents would be on the agenda of the Moscow conference of the Council of Foreign Ministers on April 22.
The special working group will hold several meetings prior to that conference, said Khalafov, expressed hope that the final Convention will be agreed before the summit.
