COUNCIL OF FOREIGN MINISTERS OF BSEC COUNTRIES MEET ON BELGRADE

Meeting of the Council of foreign ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) took place on 19 April in Belgrade, press service of the Foreign Ministry said. Foreign ministers of six member countries, including foreign minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, joined the event.

The participants have noted the raising roe of BSEC, implementation of numerous projects in the framework of Organization, development of relations with the European Union, strengthening of energy and transport cooperation among the BSEC member countries and other issues.

In framework of the meeting, Minister Mammadyarov met with the foreign ministers of Greece, Romania, Russia and Turkey, as well as the US official.

The participants have adopted some documents, including the Belgrade Declaration, and signed a MOU.

On 1 May, presidency of Serbia at the Organization expires, and Turkey will preside at BSEC in the next six months.
