Dagestani Delegation pays respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev
Baku, May 11 (AZERTAC). A delegation led by Adviser to the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation Nasir Heydarov has visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath and flowers at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
The delegation also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, state figure Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
In a brief talk with journalists, Heydarov said national leader Heydar Aliyev`s anniversary was celebrated yearly not only in Azerbaijan, but also by the people of Dagestan.
“National leader Heydar Aliyev had done a lot for his people. He built an independent and powerful state. And he had also helped Dagestan.”
