Delegation of NDFI visits SOFAZ
Baku, May 1 (AZERTAC). A delegation of National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) headed by. Seyed Ghasem Hosseini, the Alternate Chair and Member of Board of Executive Directors, visited Azerbaijan on April 28-May 1, 2014. Bilateral meetings were held between the management of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and delegation of the National Development Fund of Iran during the visit.
The visit aimed to get more information about the experience of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to benefit from the Fund’s experience in activities within the International Forum of the Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), to obtain information about implementation of Santiago Principles (SP) and accountability procedures.
The questions of delegation members, mutual prospects of cooperation and other issues were discussed during the meetings.
