Delegation of State Fund for ICT Development visits Turkey
Baku, April 30 (AZERTAC). A delegation of Azerbaijan State Fund for ICT Development under the Ministry of Communication and High Technologies has visited Ankara, Turkey.
The delegation held several meetings to explore prospects for cooperation between the Fund and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), one of the local actors in Manisa Province.
The meetings focused on joint activities and programs carried out by the two institutions. The parties also discussed the organization of a visit of KOSGEB delegation to Azerbaijan until the end of 2014.
KOSGEB`s mission is to increase the share of SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises) involved in economic and social development by providing qualified service and support so as to improve SMEs` competitive power and disseminate a culture of entrepreneurship.
Azerbaijan`s ICT Development Fund aims to support the production in the ICT sector and encourage the involvement of foreign and local investment in the industry.
