Dialogue between Uzbekistan and Türkiye business circles reaches a new level

In recent years, the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye has been steadily strengthening, and trade and economic ties have been enriched with new content, according to UzA.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance held another meeting with representatives of the Turkish business circles.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation, including the prompt consideration of entrepreneurs’ appeals, establishing contacts with relevant ministries and agencies, and developing practical solutions.
Special attention was paid to supporting Turkish companies in Uzbekistan and creating favorable conditions for new investors. The development of trade-economic relations, the increase in the number of joint investment projects, and the introduction of advanced management methods were also discussed.
The proposals and initiatives put forward by representatives of associations and companies were heard at the event. Detailed discussions were held with representatives of responsible organizations on the possibilities for their practical implementation.
According to the Ministry, 25 meetings have been held with representatives of 30 companies and associations in recent times. Based on the developed plan, systemic measures have been taken to address the issues faced by Turkish investors, and the concerns of approximately 20 companies have been resolved positively.
The priorities include simplifying tax and customs procedures, expanding access to banking and financial services, and improving the quality of services provided to investors.
In turn, Turkish businesspeople praised the investment environment being created in Uzbekistan, the improvement of the legal framework, and the efforts being made to support entrepreneurship.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to expand practical cooperation, launch new joint projects, and strengthen mutually beneficial ties.
