Diplomat: Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline can be realized through Turkmenistan–Azerbaijan cooperation
Baku, January 28, AZERTAC
“We believe in the implementation of the Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline project through Turkmenistan–Azerbaijan cooperation. The pipeline will enable Turkmenistan to export natural gas to both the European market and Türkiye,” Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok said at a press conference in Ashgabat.
According to him, this infrastructure project, aimed at exporting natural gas, will benefit all parties involved by attracting new investment flows and supporting economic development.
Highlighting Turkmenistan’s strong potential in alternative energy production, the diplomat added that Azerbaijan and Türkiye could also export surplus electricity to Western markets.
