ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINE IMISHLI-PARSABAD
The agreement on the construction project of the second stage of inter systemic line Imishli-Parsabad has been achieved this week during the meetings of the two countries’ experts in Tehran and Tabriz, press-service of Azenergy company report.
Heads of the Iranian consulting firm Moshanir has already informed the leaders of Azenergy on completion of the Iranian sector design. The works of the kind related to the Azerbaijani sector were prepared by specialist of Azenrgy in March 2003.
After financial issues of the line are solved, parallel construction of the line is expected by the end of 2003. After completion of the first stage of the project in July 2004, the volume of power supply will increase from 200 up to 350 megawatt.
Further, second stage is to be implemented, presupposing construction of new lines inside the countries, which gives an opportunity to increase power exchange by this trunk up to 1000 megawatt.
