Elton John to hold concert in Seoul
Baku, November 27, AZERTAC
British pop star Elton John will perform for his fans in South Korea on Friday as part of his world tour that started earlier this year, according to Yonhap news agency.
The Seoul leg of his "All the Hits" tour is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Understage, a small venue in the expat neighborhood of Itaewon.
The concert is part of the Hyundai Card Curated series that brings budding musical talent and artists with long, prolific careers alike to the stage.
At Understage, John will be accompanied by his long-time entourage: guitarist Davey Johnstone, bassist Matt Bissonette, keyboardist Kim Bullard, percussionist John Mahon and drummer Nigel Olsson.
Understage is the only "All the Hits" venue that can accept only up to 500 people.
"It's extremely rare for Elton John to perform at such a small venue," a Hyundai Card official said. "This concert will allow the audience to feel the spirit of his music."
John is one of the best-selling musicians in the world, having sold more than 250 million records
