Embassy of Poland in Baku on 9 October held a news conference dedicated to the forthcoming POLAND EXPO, national exhibition of this country, in Azerbaijan. The conferees spoke of contracts and agreements on cooperation between two countries concluded in different years. One of them is the Agreement on partnership and cooperation signed in 1996. As stated, the Polish businessmen are keen in cooperation with Azerbaijan, with high developed economic among the CIS states, and they would lie to prolong these documents to establish new links. The coming exhibition will be, from this point of view, a test to ascertain more effective directions of cooperation to present large-scale Polish economy. In the said Exhibition, some 50 companies are to take part, while, next year they are said to increase by three times.

Polish companies will display goods of aviation, automobile, construction, electronics, food, cosmetology and pharmacology.

The Exhibition is to open on November 8 at ABU AREBA saloon.
