Ersin Tatar: Northern Cyprus ready to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan

“The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) stands ready to comprehensively expand its cooperation with Azerbaijan,” said TRNC President Ersin Tatar during a meeting in Lefkoşa with Vugar Isgandarov, a member of Azerbaijan’s Parliament.
Orhan Hasanoğlu, President of the Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society, and Nadir Ismayilov, representative of the Press Council of Azerbaijan, also participated in the meeting.
The sides exchanged views on further enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of tourism and education.
Ersin Tatar emphasized that Lefkoşa continues to develop its relations with Baku and Ankara within the framework of the “One Nation, Three States” concept. “I sincerely thank President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and support shown to Northern Cyprus,” he underlined.
