EUROASIAN ECONOMIC SUMMIT IN ISTANBUL IN PROGRESS
The 10TH Euroasian Economic Summit organized by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation on 3 May continued at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
At the first meeting, the economists representing Turkey and 28 states of the world, have discussed problems of small and medium business in conditions of global competition. As noted, small and medium businessmen, in order to function at level of high standards and according to the price policy of the USA and the developed European states, should use more widely modern technologies, simultaneously enjoying the state support.
The Vice-President of Association of small and medium entrepreneurs of Turkey Mustafa Cholakoglu, minister of trade and economic development of Kyrgyzstan Sabirbey Moldokulov, the state minister of Macedonia Ivan Ribarik and others have told about the developed situation in this area in the countries.
Then, the discussions on "The International values in economy " took place. Minister of economic development of Georgia George Arveladze, the state minister of Slovenia Andrian Starina Kosem, minister of economic development of Tajikistan Amonulla Ashurov shared views on global economy with free capital flow, on banking sector.
Another topic discussed by participants of the summit was cooperation in the field of tourism and culture. Minister of culture and tourism of Turkey Atilla Koch, minister of tourism and sports of Turkmenistan Daryageldi Orazov, representatives of tourist sector of the Eastern-Central European countries have emphasized, that tourism last years has become the most profitable business.
The 10th Euroasian Economic Summit is in progress. The participants will discuss questions of national and international security, fighting terrorism, the increasing role of the Diaspora organizations in the globalized world.
