EVENT ON INOGATE PROGRAMME HELD IN BAKU
Baku, 9 December (AZERTAC). An event on EU-funded INOGATE Programme has been held today in Azerbaijan`s Industry and Energy Ministry with support of the INOGATE Technical Secretariat.
The event was attended by officials of various ministries, committees and organizations.
The purpose of the event was to contribute to increasing awareness of Azerbaijan`s energy specialists on the Programme.
Azerbaijani deputy minister of industry and energy Gulmammad Javadov, head of EU`s delegation in Baku Roland Kobia and official of the European Commission Simone Rave addressed the event praising the current level of relationship between Azerbaijan and the European Union. It was noted that Azerbaijan participates in EU-funded programs to boost bilateral relations.
Official of the Ministry of Industry and Energy, coordinator of the INOGATE Programme in Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev briefed the participants on the accomplishments in Azerbaijan in fuel and energy infrastructure and the country`s role in ensuring energy security. He also spoke of Azerbaijan`s participation in the INOGATE Programme and relevant projects underway in the country.
