FINCA Azerbaijan starts New Social Project
Baku, October 30 (AZERTAC). FINCA Azerbaijan Non-Banking Credit Organization who is always trying to support the improvement of living standards of the families and orphans who are in need of social care has put its signature to further project in this direction. Beginning from October FINCA Azerbaijan with the cooperation of “Azerbaijan Social Work” Public Union will render financial support to Family, Children and Youth Training and Consultation Center which is operating in Mardakan district.
The Center renders psychological aid to the orphans, as well as to the families who live in Mardakan, Shuvalan, Buzovna, Gala, Zyra, Bina, Turkan, Gurgan and Shaghan villages of Khazar region and who are facing with the danger to abandon their children. The Center is also engaged in helping the children with different disability, in eliminating their disability, as well as in proper approach of their families towards them. At the same time the Center renders psycho-social support to the families with low income in order to eliminate the problems in parent-children relations and in the childrens` discipline. All the existing services in the Center are free of charge.
By means of financial support of FINCA Azerbaijan the Center will improve the services like Family Training Program on the education and development of children, psychological therapy of children and youth at 0-18 ages, family therapy, social work with families, as well as inclination towards other social services and professional trainings for patronizing families.
As a result of the cooperation of FINCA Azerbaijan credit organization with “Azerbaijan Social Work” Public Union 30 children and 60 families will be able to benefit from psychological aid initially, as well as the specialists working in the state children institutions will get the benefits from the trainings on children development.
FINCA Azerbaijan NBCO who has been operating in Azerbaijan for 15 years has given the loans in the amount of about 1 billion US dollars to its clients since it was established. The organization renders financial services to more than 145,000 clients through its 33 branches and 33 sub-offices within the territory of the country. The general loan portfolio of FINCA Azerbaijan is more than 190 million US dollars. According to these indicators FINCA Azerbaijan is not only the biggest micro-financial organization, but also takes place among the largest banks of the country.
