FIRST LADY OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS FOREIGN AMBASSADORS
President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met the ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Tadahiro Abe, 8 June. Having welcomed the ambassador and his spouse, Mehriban Aliyeva told about history, the purposes and activity of Foundation headed by her.
Noting successful development of cooperation between Japan and Azerbaijan in numerous fields, Ambassador Tadahiro Abe emphasized, that by all possible means would assist the further strengthening of bilateral communications. The diplomat highly estimated vigorous activity of Mehriban Khanum both in the country, and in the international structures, informing on intention of some public organizations of Japan to cooperate with the Foundation.
The conversation revolved around a number of other questions of mutual interest.

The same day, First lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva met with the Ambassador of China to Azerbaijan Chzhan Haichzhou.Ambassador Chzhan Haichzhou reminded his participation last year in the session of Foundation. He noted, that the First Lady of Azerbaijan does a lot as the president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP, for development of education, science, culture, public health services, social sphere in the country.
He emphasized, that awarding Mehriban Khanum with the high award of the World Health Organization, other international awards is estimation of that important work which she does. The diplomat noted, that will use best efforts for strengthening of relations between China and Azerbaijan.

He assured, that would do the utmost for the further rapproachement of two people and the countries which great leader Heydar Aliyev characterized as "one nation, two states".
